I live-tweeted from the 50th Maudsley debate, “CBT for psychosis has been oversold”, earlier tonight. You can read my storify of the event here.
I am a psychiatrist (now an SpR) based in Oxford after 3 years working in South East London. Before I went into psychiatry, I used to be a general medical doctor, and I also have a BSc in psychology.
I'm particularly interested in improving the public face of psychiatry, evidence based medicine, teaching and patient rights.

what other kinds of therapy are recommend for psychosis?
dose therapy help with the psychotic symptoms or just reduce emotional distress?
